Air Conditioning Details

The apartment is equipped with an air conditioning system that provides both cooling and heating functions. As usual, the air conditioning does not make sense when windows are open, it only makes the city of Durres warmer. Also, the AC's effect is not immediate. Setting the temperature to 5 degrees will not speed up the process, but you may freeze yourself if you forget to turn it off after a while. ☃

The remote control should be located somewhere around the apartment and looks like this.

The main buttons you should be concerned with are the Power button (top-left one) and the 'MODE' button, which allows you to select cooling mode, heating mode, or other options that remain a mystery. The arrow up and down buttons set the target temperature, which should be visible on the indoor unit. The buttons called 'SWING' allow you to fix or unfix the direction of the air flow.

Both units, in the living room and the bedroom, are controlled by the same remote control.

Please, do not set extreme temperatures while having windows open to save energy, reduce the electric bill, protect our planet, and the future of mankind.
